Cosmos & Sustainability Influencers
The CSI Hackathon follows a hybrid learning model that combines live, class-based online sessions with flexible self-paced activities, ensuring meaningful learning without overwhelming students or teachers.
Live (synchronous) sessions take place during class time, with the active presence of the class educator, who leads the session locally, while the CSI facilitation team provides structured support, guidance, and expert input. These sessions focus on discussion, teamwork, reflection, and collaborative challenges.
Self-paced (asynchronous) activities allow students to watch short learning videos, explore resources, participate in discussion forums, and work on their digital projects at a flexible pace, either during school project time or at home.
This hybrid approach:
Students are prepared first, then guided through educator-led live sessions, and finally create and submit their projects during the 10-day hackathon period, combining structure with flexibility in a safe and supportive learning environment.
